I'm a professional performer and dance maker based in Berlin and Helsinki. I I have graduated from University of Arts, Theatre Academy (MA + BA) Helsinki and Turku Conservatory (dancer's degree). Part of my Master's degree was conducted at SODA-program (HZT, Berlin). I have also studied classical piano and music theory. After my MA studies I did a 2-year music theatre specialisation track (University of Arts, Helsinki) that focused on music theatre singing and Estill voice training with the very best teachers.
I work widely in different fields of performance art: contemporary dance, performance art, musictheatre and community arts. I also work with dance film. Besides working on stage or in front of a camera, I also enjoy co-directing and choreographing, facilitating workshops and teaching. I have years of experience facilitating dance classes for people on the Autism spectrum with Liisa Pentti and I have a various working experience, specifically in carework. My dance education is strongly affected by various improvisational, contemporary and modern techniques and somatic methods (Feldenkrais, Alexander, Klein, Release), rock-climbing and fighting monkey. I have also special expertise and basic skills for working on hights, rigging, belaying and flying on stage. I am part of the transqueer and sex-positive movement. I have experience in being part of groups that aim to build safer spaces and who work with sexpositive and intimate practices on stage.
