"Composer Sauli Zinovjev, choreographer Vilma Tihilä and video artist Tommi Mustaniemi have together created the stage perormance Syrjä, which approaches music theatre through moving visuality and strong emotion. At its core lies improvisation, which allows the work to breathe, giving it the ability to conform. The show moves at the interface of experience, distantly cool and yet so burningly personal."
